You will be more resilient in ONE WEEK

Dear Reader,

Are you resilient? You may say, "Up until now, I haven't been so resilient..."

Or maybe, "Are you kidding? I'm so sensitive and anxious that I'm incapable of being resilient."
Perhaps, "I have not found resilience to come easily, yet."
and, sometimes, "Darn right! I am a resilient person."

In this pre-recorded class with my special guest, the gifted therapist and teacher, Linda Graham, we explored the intersection of sensitivity and resilience. Linda offers many wonderful tools and insights from her decades of study and two published books on the topic.

When you register, you will receive the recording to watch at your leisure and a link to join the livestream on June 25th as well as an invitation to Office Hours after the live stream when we will discuss resilience and offer individual coaching to support you on your path to living a resilient and abundant life.

Resilience and Well-Being

Members of AYHS, please do not register. You will receive your recording and zoom credentials in a separate email.

I have included a little hint to get you started on your resilience journey. It's all in the language. I invite you to go back to the beginning of this email and study my language choices. I have highlighted the critical phrases in purple to help you.

In growth,
Alane

Dear Reader, Squat Challenge for Sensitives: An annual program for sensitive nervous systems. How did it start? I got on a squatting kick a few years ago in August. (Thanks to reading the great book, Built to Move by the Starretts.) I turned it into a weeklong challenge. I think I might have said 100 squats a day back then!! Wow. Why August? Dear Reader, Why Pulling Away from What Is Hard Always Makes It Worse | Pema Chödrön Did you have a chance to check out this short interview with Pema Chödrön? It's a lesson I get to learn over and over again: Pulling away from what is hard makes it worse. I was raised with "When the going gets tough, the tough get going...
