Wanna Come to My Dark Party on Thursday?

Dear Reader,

Just a few days before the longest night... Are you ready? It's my FAVORITE holiday because my dear friend, the LIGHT, is returning. So let's celebrate in reverence for this time of inner work.

Please join my DARK PARTY this Thursday on Zoom (and plan your own for Saturday or Sunday, the calendar solstice.)

It's about the feeling and the season, and we celebrate all through these next few weeks. In my life, it started with Hannukah a couple days ago and continues through the new year. By January, we'll actually notice the light increasing if we are paying attention to the subtleties, and as HSPs, we will be noticing.

What to Bring to the Party: Something dark to share (wear dark clothes, eat dark chocolate, bring a dark thought, or ask a question about something challenging in your life, aka long nights, holidays, parenting, or...)

AND bring a candle and a way to light it. We will embrace the darkness, and we will light our candles and welcome the return of the light in a sweet ritual.

Register here to join us.

Exhaling into the sweet long night and welcoming the spark of returning light,
Alane

Winter Solstice
Stillness and Silence descend upon the land. We turn to the void
and befriend the dark, where dreams are born. Slither with Snake
to the other side of suffering. She finds a lightless space, becomes
still, without sight, and sheds her old skin. Travel down deep into
the belly of the Mother. Feel [Earth] envelop you like a midnight
blanket. Hush. Earth wisdom is heard only when we become
quiet and still.
Love and Harmony reign in the collective dream of a new world.
We are challenged with the task to forgive what has been. Making
peace with what is, we make space to create something new. Brave
the unknown path ahead. Our intentions and manifestations must
not be limited by our own imagination. What awaits is beyond our
wildest dreams and wondrous imaginings.
Allow the hand of the [Divine] to work in our world and hearts.
Greet the flicker of ever-present light within. This heart flame will
grow through the season and deliver us and our kin to Spring when
the light of Sun returns.

Dear Reader, Happy Solstice! (Celebrate this entire weekend and extend through the winter holidays.) Today I rejoice as the light returns. Whether you are rejoicing about the soon to be longer days or in the symbolism of a religious holiday or even the new calendar year, REJOICE. If you find a small seed of hope or joy, latch on to it for a moment. Nurture the seed as you plant it in the rich soil of your heart and mind. Sunday, December 21, marks many holidays from religious to Winter...
