Dear Reader,

Alane's Check-in is today!

It’s only 10 minutes. Come as you are. Just like office hours (next Tuesday) Check-in is open topic, or you can some and play with the topic that's on the top of my mind. I promise to always offer a tool for the day.

Since next week's office hours will kick off with the them of ethics, I have a question for you:

Do you sometimes find yourself in an ethical dilemma? I do, often.

Do I take care of me or of you?
Do I tell the person the (helpful) information I know?
Do I get trapped in ethical dilemmas because it was so overwhelming?
​
I don't think the answer is ALWAYS BE PERFECT which is the subtle or not so subtle message my brain gives me.
​
I think part of the answer is to be AWARE. Do I have to have all the answers or be always perfectly ethical by YOUR (the global your) standards? NOT ME. I have to be thoughtful and conscientious toward both ME and the global you.
