What would you love? How about a retreat from the front lines?

Dear Reader,

Have you registered for my new webinar, Retreat as Spiritual Practice? I've offered it twice already and the reception has been so enthusiastic that I'm offering it again: This Sunday I'm hosting it once again. Although I'm not charging, you do need to register here.

But first I have a question for you: "What would you love?" Go ahead, take a moment and ask yourself.

Now, close your eyes, take three conscious breaths, and ask again, "What would you REALLY love?"

It is through seeing those things we would love clearly in our heart and mind that we come to envision them coming into being. The vision is enough. Writing it down makes it at least five times more powerful. And all of this is spiritual practice. (Feel free to email me your writing to help make it even more real.)

I would love to travel to places I haven't been and stay in ultra-comfortable HSP-friendly accommodations, all while helping highly sensitive people. Guess what? I'm making it happen!

In the webinar last week, someone asked me how and why I came to plan the Costa Rica retreat. The answer is based in the question, "What would I love?" I asked it many times, wrote in great detail about it, and now... And at my first Costa Rica retreat, What would you love? will be the central question of our work together.

(Also there is some kind of astrological thing going on this week that encourages this work, this shift. Take it or leave it, as I do, but it aligns with my mind at the moment, so I'll take it this time.)

Webinar topics we covered include:

  • The Frontlines from which we need to retreat
  • Micro-Retreats
  • How to Recognize Burnout
  • The Spiritual Basis for Retreat, and of course
  • Some cool photos/stories from my Costa Rica retreat last month.

Would you like to ATTEND the webinar? I'm offering it this Sunday, (at 5pm EDT) and I will be there live for Q&A and discussion. You will need to register to get the Zoom link.

In the presentation I mention a few important resources, and I will share those links in the chat on Sunday.

Warm retreat blessings to each of you,
Alane

Dear Reader, Pulling Back the Curtain on Why I Create Retreats for Successful HSPs For years, I wore the mask of high-functioning calm. On the outside, I was thriving—meeting deadlines, leading teams, achieving goals. But inside, I was quietly burning out. As a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I was constantly navigating a world that wasn’t built for me. The noise, the pressure to socialize, the relentless doing—it all came at a cost. I needed more than a vacation. I needed space to breathe, to...
